Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy

At Neon, we believe that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are essential values that contribute to the success of our company and the events we create. We recognize that our differences make us stronger, and we are committed to fostering a culture that embraces diversity, promotes equity, and creates an inclusive environment for all. To this end, we have developed the following DEI policy:

  1. Diversity: We celebrate diversity in all forms and strive to create events that are inclusive of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, ages, and other characteristics that make us unique. We actively seek out diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds when hiring staff and vendors, and in the event planning process.
  2. Equity: We are committed to creating a level playing field where all individuals have equal access to opportunities, resources, and benefits. We work to eliminate barriers to entry, provide fair compensation and benefits, and ensure that our events are accessible to all.
  3. Inclusion: We recognize that creating an inclusive environment is an ongoing process, and we are committed to fostering a culture that promotes open communication, mutual respect, and empathy. We provide training and resources to our staff and vendors to promote cultural competency and address unconscious bias.
  4. Safe and Respectful Environment: We are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all individuals at our events. We have zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or any behaviour that creates an unsafe or uncomfortable environment.
  5. Accountability: We hold ourselves accountable for upholding these values and regularly review our practices and policies to ensure that we are promoting DEI in all aspects of our operations.

We believe that embracing DEI is essential to creating events that reflect the diverse communities we serve and creating meaningful experiences for all attendees. We are committed to continuously improving our DEI practices and creating an inclusive environment for all.
